Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you sign in to Nexagent(the “Service”), we collect only the minimum needed to identify your account:

  • Your email address
  • Display name (only when you sign in with Google)
  • Your Google account's unique identifier (the OAuth sub claim, used to link sessions back to your account)

We do not request access to your Gmail content, your contact list, Google Drive files, or any other Google data outside the basic email profile openid scopes.

2. How we use your information

  • Authenticating your sessions and identifying your data within the Service
  • Storing the hunts you create and the contacts/results they generate
  • Sending essential service notifications (password resets, billing receipts)

We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it to third parties.

3. Data storage & security

  • All HTTP traffic is encrypted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt; plaintext passwords are never persisted.
  • Authentication tokens (JWT) are signed server-side with HS256 and short-lived.
  • User data is stored on infrastructure hosted in the Asia-Pacific region; specific region depends on the deployment target.

4. Sharing & subprocessors

We share your information only with:

  • LLM providers (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Anthropic etc.) — they receive the search keywords and public web content gathered during a hunt, not your account identity.
  • Search providers (Serper, Tavily, Jina Reader) — they receive search keywords only.
  • Google Identity Services — used for authentication only.
  • Hosting / cloud providers running our infrastructure.

We never share or sell your information for marketing purposes.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@nexagent.org.

6. Policy updates

We may revise this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
